Stress Free Holiday Entertaining
When it comes to entertaining, I think we can all agree that we like our events to look as though we made a big effort to pull everything together without actually spending too much time. The secret to creating an unforgettable event without the fuss and stress are easy to do diy projects. Here are 3 DIY quick entertaining ideas for the holiday that look like you spent a lot of time on, but really didn’t.
Dress your centerpiece
Create easy yet stylish centerpieces using grocery store flowers and jewelry pieces. Many times we are stuck buying the less than pretty grocery store flowers. One way you can use these flowers and make it look much more elevated is to insert more greenery. Here I added more leaves and green florals to a simple hydrangea and rose arrangement. Make your floral vases more stylish and a statement piece by tieing pendants or jewelry pieces around the vase with ribbon. Much better than a plain vase right?!
Make your party interactive
Guests want to be entertained by either conversation, music, or a game. Sometimes we have final touches to complete for the meal and our guests have to entertain themselves. Well, enter diy wine charms! Have your guests create their own beaded wine charms using festive mini ornaments and beads. Set up a station for guests to assemble their own charm and pour themselves a glass of wine or another beverage.
These cute wine charms also become gifts for guests to take home. Place small boxes at each place setting for guests to package their diy wine charms. You can also have small diy wine charm kits inside so guests can create more at home.
Personalize your event
Having printed materials always elevates an event. These printed materials make your guests feel special and that you took time to think of them. They can be created very easily on your computer and then printed before your event. Create printed materials like food tent cards, menu cards, or thoughtful cards asking guests to share holiday wishes. You can also print labels for bags your guests can use to take home leftovers. Download and print my FREE Happy Holiday Entertaining printable set which includes the Holiday wishlist, tent cards, and place setting cards, leftover bag, and container labels you see in this post.
I hope that you have an amazing time entertaining this holiday season. With these easy to do tips, you can create a special entertaining atmosphere your guests will enjoy.
