My dining room is really popping with color this season. The serape inspired Christmas tree has been such a great inspiration for the rest of the decor in the house. Serape blankets can be quite colorful and my tree is definitely popping in color. To complement the tree, I created a super simple colorful ornament centerpiece for the table.
Simple Christmas Centerpiece With Ornaments
I finally found where my brass candlestick holders were stashed yesterday and I took full advantage of them. The mix of several candlestick holders has been a favorite of mine this past season. You may have noticed them of my fall mantel or thanksgiving tablescape. Now, it has a fuller look with the addition of the brass.
This collection of candlestick holders can be used on an entryway table for a pop of color as soon as you enter your home. Or, have it on your kitchen breakfast table for a pretty Christmas sight each morning.
Christmas Ornament Centerpiece
I chose to use a few colors of ornaments to top my candleholders, but it can be monochromatic if you have that Christmas theme already. Use as many or as little colorful ornaments as you’d like.
Then, weave in gold floral embellishments. You could also use fresh eucalyptus if you have that handy, but I actually recycled the pieces I took off of my old wreath to create my brass boho wreath.
I’m loving all the color in the dining room. It’s such a statement as soon as you enter the house. Stay tuned for Day 10 of the Very Global Christmas series where I’ll be sharing some table decorating ideas.
