DIY Global Print Advent Calendar

Are you team advent calendar? I often do one with my kids who adore them now that they are older. Believe it or not, my kids are not big candy eaters. So the chocolate advent calendars are not too popular here at Casa Watkins. They prefer an activity, fruit, or Skittles as a treat.

Printable Advent Calendar

For this year’s DIY advent calendar, I opted for a printable advent calendar that can be used for adults or kids. The printed dates have a blank back to allow you to write a special note, the name of the treat for the day, family story, bible verse, or anything that makes Christmas special to you.

This diy global print advent calendar couldn’t be easier to make. Simply print out the free printable advent calendar on slightly thick printer paper or on cardstock. Cut each day out and use mini colored clothespins to attach each day to a holiday card holder or garland.

How To Make A Paper Advent Calendar

I’ve had this Christmas tree shaped card holder for a while. I’m pretty sure I got it at Target years ago, but you can find pretty card holders in a variety of shapes in store or online these days. They make the best holders for advent calendars too! You can attach the paper advent calendar to string or a garland with mini clothespins if you don’t have a card holder handy.

How fun is this idea! Did you notice the little casitas I added? What says global boho style other than textiles… a little tropical island house! Imagine this entire advent calendar display on your entry table or in a kid’s space. It’s a great way to add some global style to a space this holiday season.
