Wild Spring Floral Arrangement
It’s been pretty rainy and gloomy the last few days, but today I’m bringing in some fresh, spring vibes with this easy wild spring floral arrangement. With May just around the corner, I’m loving taking some time to create a fresh spring floral arrangement that takes minutes to make. May is going to be a BUSY time for us here at Casa Watkins. We have 3 birthdays in our family, Pink has her prom, Mother’s day of course, plus prepping for Pink’s high school and Nugget’s pre-school graduation. I never imagined having one child leaving the school system the same time as one going into it. I’ll be sure to snap a picture of both of them in their cap and gowns…. I may shed some tears y’all.
For this arrangement, I mixed some of the fresh clippings from my own garden with some beautiful lilac mums from the grocery store. It’s only a matter of time before the garden over grows, so I took the time today to head to the garden and clip some garden goodies. To start the arrangement, I placed the greenery from my garden (I have no clue what it’s called) along with some peony greens in a glass vase.
I added the lilac mums and dainty white flowers to the mix, altering the heights of each stem. I love the vibrancy of a deep purple flower, but sometimes a soft lilac for spring is nice. I finished this easy spring arrangement by adding some Craspedia that I also purchased at the grocery store. Frankly, these yellow pom pom like flowers looked too cute to pass. Don’t they remind you of Whoville or at least the movie Horton Hears a Who?
This wildflower mix was super fun to arrange and perfect for Mother’s day too. Look’s like I have a new floral centerpiece for my Mother’s day table! Enjoy creating your own wildflower spring arrangement!
This is so incredibly beautiful and your photography is FAB!!

Beautiful arrangement, don’t you just love arranging flowers from your garden.
