Terracotta Christmas Tablescape
Day 10 is here for the A Very Global Christmas and tablescapes are the topic! Today, I want to share some ideas for using terracotta for Christmas tablescapes. Be sure to catch up on all of the globally inspired Christmas posts so far. This modern Mediterranean Christmas theme needs a bit of terracotta and this tablescape has just the right amount.
I started with large planter dishes as charger plates and even added an additional woven charger to create a full look. White plates with a floral dessert plate was used to finish the dishware.
Remember those DIY terracotta bells I made the other day? Well, they make the best toppers for the place settings. Not only are they sing-a-long starters, but your guests can take them home as sweet gifts.
The centerpiece garland greenery stretches in the middle of the table. A few additional pieces of greenery add to the centerpiece. I added gold colored ornaments for a bit of color.
A few candlesticks in cobalt and teal match the glassware of the table. I’m so glad that the HGTV Magazine team gifted me those cobalt candlesticks. They have made the best addition to my candlestick collection.
Stay tuned for rest of the dining room decor revealed tomorrow for my second home tour! The dining room tree is quite different from what I would normally do, but with such a colorful room it makes sense to go this route. What that entails…. you’ll see tomorrow plus a completed living room finally as colorful as I’ve dreamt this season.
Now, head over to Up To Date Interiors for another beautiful tablescape idea. Her colorful global eclectic Christmas tablescape is amazing and full of pizazz.
