Simple Easter Tree with Bead Ornaments

It’s another year of A Very Global Easter where Kathy of Up To Date Interiors and I share 7 days of globally inspired Easter ideas. I’m thrilled to be getting back into crafting and spending the time to be creative again. Now that schools are opening up again, I even have the time for it!

We are kicking off the Easter crafts with an Easter tree. I’ve said it before, the Easter tree post of the series is my favorite each year! I’ve shared a folk bird Easter tree, a himalayan salt tree, and a global style paper mache Easter tree. This year’s tree was on the more simpler side, but still showing some of that global styling we love.

Instead of using Easter eggs for my tree, I created Easter egg shaped bead ornaments to decorate spring branches. These bead ornaments were super easy to create and shape, plus the branches look perfect for spring.

How to make a simple Easter tree

The bead ornaments were created using wood and turquoise beads that complimented the cute little vase my sister sent me from South Korea. Slide the branches into the vase and add the bead ornaments to create your own simple Easter tree with bead ornaments. The bead ornaments were made by adding beads to a hoop wire, but you can use any wire and form into an Easter egg shape.

Add a little global flair by using a worldly vase for your simple Easter tree. Then, use beads within the same color family of the vase or ones that compliment any of the paint colors of your vase. Add wooden bead ornaments to your simple Easter tree to boost the natural and organic vibe.
