Global Style Easter Tree Centerpiece

Adorn your Easter table with this global style Easter tree centerpiece.

It’s day 2 of a Very Global Easter!  My partner in crime, Kathy of Up To Date Interiors and I shared free printable art yesterday to kick off our Easter celebrations.  Today, we are sharing our takes on beautiful Easter trees.  I first became aware of Easter trees during my time in Germany.  My family was stationed in Europe for 6 years and I observed some of the most beautiful European traditions during that time.  Easter is a big celebration there and my family and I loved seeing all the Easter decor around the village.  Hand painted Easter eggs were hung beautifully from several branches of tall trees.  It was such a beautiful sight and today I’m sharing an Easter centerpiece inspired by those gorgeous Easter trees.

Global Style Easter Tree Centerpiece

You may have seen some versions of Easter trees that use tree branches in a vase.  This is a great way of bringing the Easter tradition indoors.  Since we’ve been dealing with snow and ice storms, our branches are not suitable to bring indoors right now.  I was able to use some faux willow branches to create a global style Easter tree centerpiece for my Easter tablescape.  Stay tuned for the full tablescape y’all.

One of the ways you can update your Easter tree is to add fresh florals and hand painted Easter Eggs.  I’ll be sharing how I created these global style paper mache Easter eggs tomorrow.  The yellow color of the florals mixed with the natural look of the paper mache gives such an organic feel to the centerpiece.  Just wait until you see how this ties to the place setting.  We’re going full Easter here at Casa Watkins.
