Scandi Glam Bedroom Refresh
Thank you to my amazing team of sponsors including The Home Depot, Spoonflower, Mohawk Home, and Select Surfaces who have provided product for this room refresh!
And another one bites the dust! The Scandi Glam bedroom refresh is all done and I am so excited to share this room with you. This was probably my toughest room to design yet. Not because it was an extensive design, rather because it had to be two things I don’t normally do…. (1) Neutral and (2) Minimalist Glam.
Scandi Glam Bedroom Reveal
I have to admit that I’m so happy with this design and that I pulled it off! I think Pink is going to love her new room. If you are tuning in now, this bedroom refresh was done as part of my annual New Year New Room Refresh Challenge. I shared the artsy, industrial global bedroom I did for Nugget earlier this week. Since this was a bedroom swap between siblings, I had to do the other room as well.
Here is how the room looked before when Nugget (8 years old) had it. Not too much was done to the room since it was his nursery.
And this is the room transformed into a Scandi glam bedroom for Pink (20 years old)!!!
Scandi Glam Bedroom Design
How amazing is that! I was still able to create a space that was centered on global design without color. Instead, I used several globally inspired patterns to create character in this room. All three fabric designs are from Spoonflower and boy did I have fun combining these patterns.
It’s easy and affordable to create a brand new space using Spoonflower’s bedding. They have so many globally inspired fabric designs available too. The mud cloth duvet cover sets the scene for this room and is complimented by a Indian woodblock stamp inspired Euro shams and Scandi plus sign pattern bed sheets.
Remember that Moroccan wedding blanket inspired pillow from Chi-Chi’s room colorful global boho bedroom makeover? Yep, I shopped the house for all the accessories in this new space. I also DIYed a new art piece for over the headboard.
One thing I didn’t recycle was the gorgeous Kenza rug from Mohawk Home. Does it look familiar? It’s the same design as Nugget’s industrial global bedroom. I told you it was a super versatile design! The off white and black rug warms all the white furniture found in the room.
All of Pink’s previous bedroom furniture was donated to make way for new modern bedroom furniture. Believe it or not, Pink had the same set since she was 8! So, it was way past time for an upgrade. The tufted gray bed makes the space much more sophisticated. It was super easy to assemble too!
The gray looks wonderful with the new white furniture and modern white ceiling fan. The sleek modern white dresser is paired with some floating shelves ( a 36″ floating shelf and 18″ floating shelf to be exact) to create the perfect modern bedroom organization.
We can’t forget about the glam nightstand! How gorgeous are those acrylic and brass accents! Not only does this nightstand ooze glam, but so is it’s friend…this checkered block lamp. The metallics are continued to the new brushed nickel curtain rod which is the same as in Nugget’s room. What can I say, when I like something and it works.. I keep using it. All of the furniture is available at The Home Depot and come in other colors too!
What probably makes the room super different is the absence of that awful carpeting. I ripped out all the carpet and replaced it with beautiful driftwood laminate flooring by Select Surfaces. It was very easy to install too!
Are you ready for a bombshell? I did this entire room refresh in 2 days! Yep! 2 days! That is the power of having a design plan and motivation my friend. I speak more about this room refresh plan in the latest edition of my ebook, New Year New Home! The book will be released real soon so be sure you are subscribed to my newsletter to get your hands on a copy!
This room would not be possible without my amazing team of sponsors. Be sure to check out these brands for your next room refresh! Until next time friends when I share the family room refresh! YAY!

Stephanie I love it!! The floor, wall color, fabric combination and pretty styling are all amazing together! I can’t believe you did that floor and everything else within two days. You are inspiring me to finish up some projects and rooms I’ve been dragging on forever. Love how this room came out. Hope your Pink is enjoying it!
It’s just beautiful, Stephanie! You nailed it, and I know this is so different from what you usually do so it truly proves your skill!
Oh my gosh those lucite knobs and the bedding are my favorite pieces in the room. Such a gorgeous room. I hope she comes back and loves it when she sees it in person.
