DIY Simple Modern Scandi Inspired Art
When it comes to adding color to a space, I often turn to art. What’s even better, and more affordable if I do say so myself, is to make the art myself. There are so many ways to diy art and it doesn’t involve having an art degree! Here is how I created a diy simple modern Scandi inspired art piece for Nugget’s big boy bedroom.
For my recent artsy big boy bedroom makeover, I wanted to add a simple modern art piece over the headboard. The wall was already full of color so a simple art piece was the way to go.
The beautiful thing about Scandinavian art is that the art centers on a simple design that makes a statement. Not only did I keep the art to a single color, but the pattern was quite simplistic as well. Can you imagine where you can add a diy Scandi style art piece in your home?
How to Make DIY Scandi Style Art
This art is super easy to create and can be made under 5 minutes! If you have a space that is in need of some pizazz and character, grab a canvas and create this simple modern Scandi inspired art. Have fun and create your own version of this art piece. Just remember to keep it simple in color and modern in shape.
- Start by adding dime sized amounts of paint around the canvas.
- Use a small brush to smear each of the paint globs. Be sure to have a variety of paint smear lengths for a more organic feel.
- Hang your art when it dries and enjoy!
