Painted Easter Egg Wreath
Well it’s day 4 of The Very Global Easter series! Kathy of Up To Date Interiors and I have shared several fun ideas for Easter so far. Today is no different my friends! Day 4 is all about wreaths! Be sure to catch all the previous ideas shared so far at the end of this post or by visiting the dedicated Very Global Easter page.

One of my favorites ways to enter the new season is to create some seasonal decor. A wreath is wonderful way to get seasonal decor into your home. This Easter, I’m creating a wreath with some flair. I used the folk painted Easter eggs from last year and a little faux blooms to create a colorful, spring wreath.
No need to buy a new wreath when it comes to this DIY idea. Should you have one around, you can easily give it a makeover to create your own DIY painted Easter egg wreath. Here is how to create your wreath easily with these supplies.
- Wreath
- Faux florals and greenery
- Painted Easter Eggs (tutorial here)
- Glue Gun

How To Make A Painted Easter Egg Wreath
- Insert green berry sprigs on the left side of the wreath. Layer additional greenery and berries in the wreath. Use your glue gun to secure onto the wreath.
- Add the larger elements to your wreath. This is where you want to add your florals. Keep them spread out as you’ll be adding the painted Easter eggs soon.
- Be sure to plan where you’d like to place the folk painted Easter eggs ( <- click to see how I made them!) before you attach with the glue gun.
- Insert smaller accents like leaves and additional berries to fill in any gaps.

Once you have your wreath looking fab, you’ll want to hang it indoors. These paper mache Easter eggs do not hold up in rain!
I adore all the color, don’t you?! The painted folk art Easter eggs add a little whimsy to the wreath too! I’d love to see how you create your own version of this wreath.

I love the floral pieces you used and those beautiful eggs. What a great way to display painted eggs! It looks stunning on the blue.
