Fall 2015 Home Tour-Part Uno
Hola!
I am so glad you are here for my fall home tour, part uno! I am so excited to be able to share a bit of my home with you. Unfortunately, it was been raining and gloomy for practically the entire week here. So, my pictures are not the best this time around. Once you finish here, you should visit the other bloggers sharing their homes as well. The gallery at the bottom of my post will make it easier for you to navigate.
If you are coming from another blog, bienvenido! Please stay a while and take a gander at my project gallery and recent posts on the side bar of my blog. Be sure to come back on Monday for part Two of my fall home tour.
This week I hosted a blog hop that asked 20 blogs, including myself, to describe their home style in 3 words and show how they incorporate those elements in their home. I described my home style as cozy, global, and eclectic.
So, here is my cozy, global, eclectic home! I’ll try hard to let the pictures do all the talking.
I will be sharing more of the outdoors on Monday, but I was able to stand in the rain to take a quick picture of my entryway.
When decorating for fall I love to gather items in my color scheme, rather than overt fall decorations. My entryway table is a mix of blue, orange, and yellow pieces I gathered from my home.
Our family room is the heart of our home. We try to spend as much time together in this room, so I try my hardest just to keep it cozy. My kids try their hardest to mess it up…haha.
My mantel also consists of a fun, eclectic mix of items. I opted for greenery and berries this year instead of leaves. The asymmetry of the mantel is different than what I would have done normally, but it’s a refreshing twist this year.
The coffee table is sporting a gold owl that I’m swooning over. I love to incorporate gold touches here and there. Do you like the new Nate Berkus line of decor at Target? I’m over the moon about this gold feather tray.
I had to include at least one pumpkin! This multicolored, glass pumpkin was a steal at Big Lots.
