Bohemian Kitchen Christmas Decor Ideas and Tour
Today is the final day of the holiday/Christmas tours and I’m completing the tour of the first floor by sharing my plant-filled kitchen decorated for Christmas. I’m joining Marty of A Stroll Thru Life and her Christmas Tour today. The tours started on Monday so be sure to check them all out at the end of the post. Welcome all coming from Follow The Yellow Brick Home! I’m so glad that you are here at the Casa.
Bohemian Christmas Ideas
The first floor holiday decorating mission is finally finished and our home is one joyous scene! After the challenges we’ve had this past month, it’s so wonderful to come home to a cheerful scene. I shared the Mediterranean inspired Christmas dining room last week and the babies breath Christmas tree is a wonderful sight to see.
Across from the dining room is the kitchen followed by the living room and sunroom/playroom. Since both the dining and living room are so bold and colorful, the neutral two-tone kitchen is a restful stop for the eye. I shared my colorful Christmas living room a few days ago and it’s one of my favorite Christmas spots this year.
Earlier this week, I shared the playroom/sunroom all decked for the holidays. This Christmas playroom a wonderful retreat for the kids who are busy writing letters to Santa this week. You’ll notice those plant centered touches here in the sunroom as well. The kids were so excited to finally decorate their kid tree this year.
Bohemian Kitchen Christmas Ideas
Back in the kitchen, the entire space gets little touches of color and Christmas. One of my favorite spots to decorate in the kitchen are the open shelving on the back wall. I rearranged a few items and added some ornaments for a festive touch.
The other side of the kitchen also has open shelving. Here, I created a garland similar to the one we have in the living room mantel. This helps tie all the spaces together and casts the most amazing warm light in the evening.
I kept the kitchen island pretty simple with a bowl of ornaments styled in the middle on purpose. We use the island so much for homework, art activities, games, etc. that the island needs very little decor most of the time. Then, shifted around a few houseplants to add those touches of greenery. I’m still in awe of the monstera plants really thriving here at the Casa. I was pretty skeptical at first, but this plant really turned out great.
I’m so glad you are able to join in on this Christmas tour fun! I’ll be sharing more of the Christmas ideas on Instagram and taking a bit of a break from the blog until after the holidays. I’m wishing you all such a joyous and happy season of celebration. Be sure to continue the fun and hop over to heading to Quarters One now! Then, start the tours from Monday to view all the wonderful Christmas decorating ideas shared.

How absolutely beautiful Stephanie! I love how you seamlessly incorporated your plants into your Christmas decor…I moved all of mine away into different rooms but now I’m thinking I didn’t need to! Your colourful home always makes me smile.
I love how fun and colorful your home is. All of your previous posts were so fun to see other rooms in your home too.
