Advent Calendar Candle Label Printable

December is almost here and the countdown to Christmas will begin! For day 5 of A Very Global Christmas, Kathy of Up To Date Interiors and I are sharing DIY Advent calendars to make the countdown to Christmas fun and special. I’ve loved creating fun ways to expect the day in the past such as my mini tree Advent calendar and the global textile print Advent tree which was just featured in the holiday edition of The Pioneer Woman Magazine! Today’s Advent calendar candle label printable is fun, interactive, and even makes a great gift!

It’s a rather simple idea inspired by a candle I spotted on Amazon, but the fun is choosing the home scent and counting the days down to Christmas. You get surrounded by a wonderful scent each day you lite your candle and count the days to the big day. I wanted the kids to participate in creating their own Advent calendar this year, so we headed to Target to choose some candle scents. The rest is easy, peasy!

Advent Calendar Label

I’ve created two botanical inspired Advent calendar candle label printables for you to choose from. The first is a more traditional look with a Christmas wreath. The second label is a modern look emphasizing a geometric shape with some winter greenery. Simply download your free Advent calendar candle label printable (<—click this link) and print on either printer paper or sticker paper.

Cut out your desired Advent label and adhere to your candle using a gluestick. This really adheres and stays in place so be sure to make your label as straight as possible. It’ll be difficult to reposition the label after a few minutes.

Now, you can countdown to Christmas by marking off each day until Christmas! If you’re considering using these Advent calendar candles as a gift, think about decorating the tops of the lids with fun Christmas items like bells and greenery. I’ll be sharing another DIY gift idea later next week too.
