Well, 2021 is coming to a close and this year the DIY projects just flowed out! I’m sharing my most popular DIY posts of 2021 today along with some of my blogging buddies. After the stresses of homeschooling and housekeeping during the quarantine period last year, there wasn’t that much done in the DIY department. However, 2021 proved to be a great year….in terms of the house projects that is. Here are the 10 popular DIY posts of 2021!
1Our Colorful Basement Makeover! The basement not only got new flooring, but a coat a paint and new furniture. I’m currently working on the bar area now and you can follow all the progress on my instagram!
2Yes! The Christmas Home Tour! Though Christmas has past, the Christmas home tours are always a crowd pleaser.
3Closet makeovers were a big thing this year and the linen closet was a first for me. I created the DIY floating shelves as my first build!
4Thrifted chairs don’t stand a chance in any store anymore! I shared how to reupholster chair seats of a beautiful set of rattan chairs for my living room and they are one of my favorite furniture makeovers yet.
5The kids have adored being in the newly madeover colorful sunroom/playroom. Though, my husband has taken the space over to play with his new Xbox…. Any other ladies out here with gaming husbands?
6If you haven’t seen my Instagram or been a reader of my blog, then you probably don’t know that I’m obsessed with wallpaper. The wallpapered laundry room was one of my favorite spaces to wallpaper this year and it’s become a place to enjoy…dare I say….doing laundry!
7See, I told you I love wallpaper! I did a switcheroo this year and swapped my eldest daughter’s room for my office after she moved into her own apartment. This bohemian office is a dream working space for sure!
8Who says you can’t personalize pre-made items?! I gave these spice jars labels a tropical twist for a newly organized kitchen! Check out these pretty DIY spice jar labels for your kitchen too.
9Our home has been getting so many changes this year. This summer, I decorated the dining room and kitchen full of life….plant life that is. Check out the modern bohemian summer home tour!
Finally, the dining room also got spruced up with a very popular post…. my DIY slat plant wall! This was a hit and continues to bring me so much joy.
It truly has been an awesome year and I’m looking forward to 2022 already. I’ll be kicking off the projects right after the New Year with my annual New Year New Room Refresh Challenge!
