Last month, the hubs and I traveled to Mexico for a quick getaway. We stayed at a fabulous Cancun resort called Azul Sensatori that had a Mojito Lounge. Yes, one bar dedicated to serving mojitos!!! The lounge had not 1, not 2, not even 10, but 18 different types of mojitos. We only went for 3 days, so going through all 18 types of Mojitos in one day would only get us a fast trip to the urgent care. We actually made it quite through the list. When we left the resort, the hubs had 4 remaining of the 18 while I have 6. One of my favorite mojito flavors was the kiwi mojito. OMG friends! It was so ridiculously delicious. The acidity of the lime mixed with the sweetness of the kiwi made a party in my mouth. I’m not a big fan of mint, but the kiwi mojito was so tasty that I didn’t mind the mint too much. You can now enjoy the taste of Mexico and make a refreshing kiwi mojito on your own!
Be sure to slice up a few extra pieces of kiwi for garnish. Don’t they make these mojitos look even more delish?! It definitely makes you feel like you’re on a tropical vacation. With May coming up, these mojitos would even be great for your Cinco de Mayo celebration. Snazz up your mojitos with umbrellas or sugar cane stalks for a festive affair.
I just adore these kiwi mojitos! I even had to stop my photoshoot to take a couple sips! Probably wasn’t a good idea since I wasn’t finished with the photos. We plan to head back to the resort with the kids next time. The resort has a super fun looking Nickelodeon section that the kids would adore! Plus, we must finish the Mojito challenge. Clearly that’s the real reason….haha. Let me know what you think of this recipe in the comments!
