Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape Boho Style
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I’ve created a simple Thanksgiving tablescape in boho style to celebrate the big day!
Let me preface by saying that “simple” may be a relative word. I put the tablescape together and then realized that it may not be defined as simple to anyone else, but it’s pretty simple for a maximalist like me. I’m joining Cassie Bustamante and a group of amazing bloggers to share fall tours and ideas today. Be sure you are visiting everyone sharing their fall decorating tours and ideas this week. If you missed any of the days this week, catch up on all the tours at the end of this post.
For my tablescape, I opted to insert pops of color and a variety of fall florals. Here are some quick and simple ways to decorate a Thanksgiving tablescape in boho style.
Quick and Simple Boho Tablescape Ideas
(1) Mix up glassware. Raid your cabinets and pull out all those gorgeous colored glasses. Not to worry if you don’t have enough of the set. It actually looks even more boho chic to mix up the glassware on the settings.
(2) Mix up Dining Plates. Just as you would mix up the glassware, mixing up the dinner plates will also give your tablescape a boho vibe. I used the same dinner plate for each setting, but mixed up the dessert plates. Have you tried mixing up plates and glassware before?
(3 )Add a mix of fresh and dried florals. The last component of my simple boho Thanksgiving tablescape is the mixture of fresh and dried florals. Dry long stemmed florals for about a 2 weeks. Place them down the center of the table to act as a dried floral runner.
Sprinkle in fresh cut mums or daisies throughout the dried floral runner. Then, add in a few petite floral arrangements to add height to the floral theme.
Place your final touches to make your table look extra cozy. Add cloth napkins, an assortment of candlesticks, and colorful pillows to complete your simple boho style Thanksgiving tablescape.
Within a few minutes, you have yourself a simple Thanksgiving tablescape full of color! If you haven’t downloaded your free Thanksgiving planner yet, be sure to grab your copy and get started on planning your big meal. I also have the Holiday Planner email series still going if you haven’t grabbed your spot for that free series!
