Boho Summer Decor Ideas
- One of the first ways I welcome summer is to bring in some colorful fresh florals. With spring done, I’m loving the ability to bring in more bold colored florals rather than pastels.
- Love botanicals as much as I do? Bring in more greenery this summer by purchasing or propagating new plants. Plants not only make your indoors feel more outdoorsy, but are great air purifiers so why not have them indoors as much as you can!
- Another great summer decor tip is to switch around some of your furniture. Whether its bringing in a colorful accent chair or table, I like to create entirely new vibes by shopping my own home for fresh pieces for my spaces.
- Colorful tassels always say summer time to me. Create a few table decor pieces like tassel placemats for your summery table or add them to a light fixture for a seasonal look.
- Summery vignettes on your coffee table not only will make your home ooze summer vibes, but have you feeling like your vacationing in your own home when using the right pieces.
- Woven, rattan, or cane decor are go to items for the summer. I don’t think you can create a more summery vibe without the use of one of these natural materials. Create an easy diy woven side table or tassel woven wall decor for a natural summer look.
- Refresh your outdoor space with colorful cushions and blankets in global patterns.
- Entertain with some globally inspired diy pieces such as these painted wood slice otomi coasters.
- Summer wouldn’t be complete without some sort of botanical print. Switch out curtains for botanical print ones or try a set of botanical print napkins for summer entertaining. Pair your botanical print with a set of DIY wood burned tribal utensils.
