Pineapple Blackberry Breakfast Smoothie
Kick up your breakfast game with this pineapple blackberry breakfast smoothie with oatmeal!
My hubs receives great gifts that sometimes don’t see the light of day for months….or years. I forget that they’re there and he forgets he even has them. He received a Ninja blender last Christmas and he finally opened the box this week! He’s been trying out a juice diet and so far it’s been going good for him. I’m not a big fan of juicing, but do love breakfast smoothies. Lunch and dinner smoothies too! Instead of juicing, I started blending breakfast smoothies.
I’m in love with two smoothies right now. A peach cobbler breakfast smoothie, which I’ll share next week and my pineapple blackberry breakfast smoothie. Blackberries are so delicious and have great health benefits like reducing inflammation, supposedly thought to prevent cancer, and is great for skin and the brain function. If you’re not fan of blackberries or pineapple, you can swap for your favorite fruit. Use snack sized bags to store smoothie fruit portions in your freezer.
Whipping up a quick breakfast smoothie has helped in getting my day started right. I can have my breakfast to go and get the kids out the door to start our day. There are a few versions of the Ninja blender. The version we have has a cool timer and sensor feature where it can regulate the blender for you. It’s similar to a set it and forget it button. Simply add your ingredients, press the button of choice, and the blender will adjust the intensity and speed of the blend. It will even turn off when the timer ends! You can check out all the features of the Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ yourself and let me know what you think.
My days are becoming a bit hectic since the kiddos are not in school or a summer camp. However, these breakfast smoothies have been a wonderful way to start my day and keep me feeling full for a few hours. Play around with the fruit combinations to find a recipe you love. Let me know your favorite fruit combination in the comments!
