Me Gusta Monday and a Little Secret

Hola y buenos dias!

I spent the majority of my week last week getting over a cold. You know that feeling when you feel your about to get sick? Well, I knew I was going down way before that. Nugget had a cold two weeks ago and sneezed right in my face. I ran to the bathroom and wash my face, but I knew it was too late for me. I was living on DayQuil three days later. Anyway, I’m feeling much better now. It is a great Monday!!! I have a little secret that I will get to shortly. First, I wanted to share a few of my likes for this week.

I wanted to concentrate on a few things I have come across that are pin worthy projects. I’ve been seeing many fantastic Kate Spade inspired crafts. There is an increasing interest in the Kate Spade brand. I remember when Kate Spade concentrated on a streamline sophisticated look. You know, the traditional black Kate Spade bag that came in pretty much neutral colors. I am in love with the newer clothing and merchandise lines that feature patterns and bold colors.

So now to my fabulous secret.
I’m going to be on the Meredith Vieira show! It’s going to be a makeover segment, which turned out to be perfectly timed. As a stay at home mom who also works from home, I get very limited opportunities to dress up. However, what has been happening over the last few years is a gradual decline in just getting myself looking decent.

It is so easy to put on sweats and a t-shirt. It’s been hard for me to get out of my frumpy look. So, I am so excited to be receiving a full makeover from the Meredith Vieira show. This is a great reboot and motivation to keep me looking just as great on the outside as I feel in the inside.
