It’s My Birthday and I’ll….do a $250 Shopping Spree GIVEAWAY!

So tickled that it’s my birthday today! I’m turning a whopping 32. I’m not one to cry about getting older. Frankly, I know that it has to happen. Though, birthdays take on a different meaning when you have children, am I wrong?
I looked at all my children today and just couldn’t believe how much bigger they were! It’s amazing how you look at someone every day and not notice the little changes happening here and there. It’s when you look at the pictures from the year before that it all sets in.
The same is true for a blog. It’s only been one year since I’ve started blogging and I can see its tremendous growth. Honestly, it has been a stressful yet very enjoyable process. Finding time in between my homelife, work (did I mention before that I’m a University professor of Nursing?), and of course my own down time has been a struggle. I recently saw an episode of Shark Tank where one of the sharks explains that a balanced life pretty much means that a business isn’t thriving. Though my blog isn’t necessarily a business, I do treat it as such. I still haven’t found a way to do it all yet, but I’m hopeful that I will.
I expect this blog to grow and mature just as I will this year. I hope you continue to join me on this journey. Aren’t all journeys more fun when you have friends along for the ride?!
