How to Makeover a Christmas Village House
The Christmas village houses for this project can have as little or as much detail as wanted, but the main goal is to have fun personalizing these houses in your own way. The supplies were easy to get at The Home Depot and I was able to create my entire village in just a day! Here are the steps to create your own DIY gingerbread houses.
Materials for DIY Gingerbread Houses:
- Rustoleum Warm Caramel
- Sharpie White Oil Based Paint Marker Set
- Fairy Lights
- Christmas Houses
Steps for DIY Gingerbread Houses:
- Clean off all dust from the houses and spray paint with Rustoleum warm caramel colored spray paint.
- Let each house dry completely and apply a second coat.
- Use a Sharpie oil based white paint marker to add details and designs to each house.
- Insert fairy lights into the house and enjoy!
