Green and Gold Bohemian Christmas Dining Room

I started my Christmas decorating very slowly since I was hosting Thanksgiving last week and have Chi-Chi’s birthday party this weekend...with a Wednesday Addam’s theme! So, we are working our way around the house and starting with the dining room today.

This year, I wanted to challenge myself to incorporating a little glam into my Christmas decorating. Though I didn’t go 100% glam, I love the touches I’ve incorporated into the dining room.

Green and Gold Bohemian Christmas Christmas Tree

The dining room Christmas tree is decked in an assortment of gold bauble ornaments, gold sprayed eucalyptus leaves, and monstera plants to create a glam-ish bohemian Christmas tree. I had so much fun putting this tree together, especially after the 3 failed attempts at creating a glam Christmas tree in the family room.

Suffice it to say, decorating is much more fun when you maintain your own essence in whatever you do. So, this dining room is my version of glam done in a global bohemian way.

Christmas Tree Centerpiece

Setting a beautiful table is one of my favorite things to do for my family and friends. I’m a firm believer that the centerpiece doesn’t have to be extravagant, but should grab your attention. An assortment of Christmas trees makes a great centerpiece idea and only involves grouping a variety of trees. I mixed light-up moss trees, glass trees, and wooden trees to create an eye catching centerpiece.

I adored the dinnerware set I used for my parent’s yellow dining room makeover, and used them to set my Christmas table. The design pattern gives Mediterranean vibes and had the color story I wanted for our Christmas theme. The dishes paired with brass cutlery and pink goblets make this dining table all set for our next family gathering.

Dining Room Christmas Decor Ideas

Adding small touches throughout the dining room adds to the overall Christmas joy we feel as soon as we walk into the house. The winter greenery hanging from the chandelier or the wooden Christmas trees at the buffet are quick design decisions that have added to the warmth of the dining room. This is your sign to add little Christmas touches to your home now even if you don’t have the time for full Christmas decorating.
