Globally Inspired Decor for Spring

It’s starting to feel more and more like SPRING! I am looking forward to all the beautiful spring colors and sunny days coming our way. Last week, I shared my first CASA Making post that centers on how to welcome the month with decor ideas and lifestyle tips to make the most of the month. I hope you are loving that new series so far. Today, I’m taking my own advice and creating some spring spaces with globally inspired decor for spring.

I visited the new HomeSense store that just opened in my neighborhood and snagged some awesome pieces for the new season. Did you happen to catch my Instagram stories with me shopping? Well, I found some amazing African baskets in vibrant colors as well as some handmade Spanish glass jars.

Spring Colored Glass Jar Decor

What makes glass jars staple global decor pieces for spring is that they can be matched with beautiful, lush plants for a springy indoor space. Bringing in the outdoors is a must for spring. Fresh flowers, plants, or any signs of nature should be highlighted in your spring decorating.

These glass jars also great to add color to any space in your home. I filled mine with some faux palms for now, but I can’t wait to get my hands on some large floral stems real soon.

Globally Inspired Wall Decor for Spring

Baskets can hold pretty arrangements, like my blooming basket idea, and jars can spotlight pretty flowers or greenery. I bought 3 of each to keep with the rule of 3 decorating. Items are so much more eye pleasing when in odd numbers.

I will be snagging more of these beautiful handmade African baskets if HomeSense stocks more of them. Looks like I’ll be stalking the store shelves now. Haha! How gorgeous do these baskets look against the wallpaper?! Don’t be afraid to mix patterns this season. I brought in my Mexican serape pillows to continue the color downwards plus it adds another level of pattern too. Now, your eye travels from the wall baskets down to the comfy chairs.
