Early Winter Dining Room Tour

Thanksgiving is over and it’s starting to feel like winter!  We have odd snow times in Maryland.  It’s been a while since we’ve had a white Christmas.  The month of December tends to still look like fall.  It’s not until late January when we really get all the snow.  We even had snow in March last year!  My early winter dining room tends to still infuse a bit of fall colors and the rest of my home is no exception.  Today, I’m joining a great group of bloggers curated by our host Carrie of Lovely Etc. to share our home tours!  We will have great spaces shared all week long AND we have an amazing $600.00 cash giveaway!  Be sure to enter the giveaway after my early winter dining room tour.

I recently changed my accent rug in the dining room and it has been such a wonderful source of color inspiration.  Vibrant bold colors mixed with winter pinecones set the theme for this space.  Next week, I’ll be placing one of my Christmas trees in this room.  I can’t wait to show you how this bold colored winter space continues to my tree.  In the meantime, I used a crate to lift my palm tree and placed a basket with blankets and pillows.

The tablescape centers on pinecones and greens.  As December continues, I’ll add a few more seasonal greens to my table.  For now, I’m loving the hints of winter mixed with the colorful floral arrangement.  Pinecones continue to the buffet table filling antique milk glass containers.  Of course, I need to infuse my plants.  Pinecones and air plants are a great combination in my book.
