DIY Tribal Ribbon and Spring Floral Basket
Create a diy tribal ribbon and spring floral basket this season!
Hello globalizers! Hoping you enjoyed your Easter weekend. The kiddos enjoyed a fabulous Easter service and egg hunt at my sister’s house. It finally felt like spring today too. Snow hasn’t dropped in days, so I’m hoping we’ve seen the last of it. We’re feeling very springy inside the casa too. I picked up some spring florals this week. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and have always made me feel like spring has arrived. It’s the first Monday of the month and this month’s global styler theme is all about baskets. DIY Spring Floral Basket
I shared a few ideas on how to decorate with belly baskets last week. If you are in love with belly baskets as much as I am, then you’ll definitely love this spring floral basket arrangement. I combined tulips, white roses, and other spring florals to create a pretty spring floral basket adorned with a diy tribal ribbon. The spring basket arrangement was easily made by inserting a vase of the florals inside of the basket.
DIY Tribal Ribbon
To create the diy tribal ribbon, I used a black fine point pen to draw a tribal inspired pattern onto the ivory ribbon. Make sure you use a fine point pen since the pen will bleed ink just a bit. The fine point pen also allows for the pattern to remain intact even if the ink smudges. The tribal pattern covered the ends of the ribbon, but you can cover the entire ribbon too. Such a simple idea for a basket makeover, but I’m loving the entire look. I’m thinking this ribbon would look great around the baskets in my office too.
How cute does this entire ensemble look? It’s like an adult Easter basket of flowers! This arrangement would look beautiful as a centerpiece for a spring dinner. I realized after we arrived home last night that I could have offered this pretty basket of flowers to my sister as a hostess gift. It’s an easy and quick project to assemble and would make anyone feel super special when they receive it.
Who would you gift this beautiful spring floral basket to? Mother’s day is coming up and this basket idea would make a great gift too. I’m loving the other globally inspired ideas shared by my pal, Kathy at Up To Date Interiors. Head on over to see her globally inspired beautiful basket idea!
This is so pretty and I love the hand printed ribbon! I think it would make a lovely mother’s day gift.
