How To Decorate For Spring: Kitchen Tray Vignette
Hola!
Have you decorated your home for spring yet? Spring decor typically features plenty of fresh florals in beautiful pastel colors. However, I prefer to feature a bit of non-traditional colors with my spring decor. Dark blues and vibrant greens are mixed in with softer pastel colors to create an alternative approach to spring decor. If you haven’t seen my spring home tours showcasing alternative spring decor, you can see them here and here. Decorating for spring doesn’t have to include an entire home revamp. Decor as small as a kitchen tray vignette can also pack a punch.
I arranged a beautiful spring kitchen tray vignette for a great Instragram decor challenge called #springonatray. You can check out all 13 amazing spring inspired tray posts on my instagram account. Just click on the photo with my spring kitchen tray vignette to follow the loop.
Tray vignettes are fantastic ways to spruce up an area without much effort. Vignettes on a tray make great kitchen or dining room table decor when tables are not in use or can be used as stylish centerpieces.
Start with a large enough tray to house a stack of plates, cutlery, and a vase. Place the cutlery in small pitchers or containers to add dimension. Height is always a plus! You can use cake stands, cups, or even other dishes to add height to your vignette. Be sure to incorporate your favorite spring florals and greenery!
If you don’t have too many fresh florals available, try the FF mix! Mix fresh and faux florals along with greenery to add volume to your decor. Try placing a collection of faux tall grass in a small pitcher or vase for an additional spring touch.
This spring, try styling a tray vignette in your kitchen! Pin this post to your spring decor board on Pinterest to keep it handy all season long. I also have a board strictly dedicated to spring decorating which you can see here.

It’s beautiful Steph!
Love the vibrant colors.
Thank you so so much! It was so fun to put together and share on instagram. Still surprised that the flowers are now going on two weeks and still looking great.
