It’s Day 5 of A Very Global Spring! Are you ready for some table decorating ideas? Try this 5 minute bohemian kitchen island spring decor idea!
If you have 5 minutes, then you have enough time to pull together this quick bohemian kitchen island spring decor idea! Kathy of Up To Date Interiors and I are back today for A Very Global Easter. We have been sharing globally inspired Easter ideas all week long and today we’re sharing table decorating ideas. The island in our new modern bohemian kitchen is so large that it looks pretty empty when it’s kept clear. So, I thought a little spring sprucing was just what my little lonely kitchen island needed.

Let me ask you something friend. Are you team pastel or vibrant for spring?
I’m totally team vibrant for spring and love to use bold florals to welcome this new gorgeous season. When decorating your kitchen island, there are 3 elements to keep in mind as you create a beautiful boho vignette: flowers, something elevated, and something metallic.
For the florals, I bought a few bold flowers to place in my favorite blue and white pitcher for the kitchen island. There is something so classy about blue and white in the spring. The bold flowers along with the other decor pieces make this classy pitcher look much more chic. Be sure to take a few steps back every once in a while to see where you may need to add a flower to your arrangement.
Bring more color to your spring kitchen island vignette by using colored glass. Petite floral arrangements look great in colored glass too. I just adore glass in any color really. It’s one of my global style staples and a go-to for any vignette I create.
I used a marble and wood cake stand to elevate some fruit and a brass crane (which just so happens to be my something metallic!). It is a kitchen island, so I like having fruit out so the kids have access to healthy snacks. You can also elevate items using books, boxes, or candle pedestals. Bring in seasonal decor in metallics to add some modern chic vibes. I’m not much of a bunny person for Easter, so I brought these…..let’s call them Easter cranes ???!! LOL!
And there you have it friends! Bohemian kitchen island spring decor in only 5 minutes! Be sure to pin this idea to your Spring or Easter Pinterest board.
