Artsy Industrial Big Boy Bedroom Progress

I’ve been working full force to get our two rooms ready in time for the New Year New Room Refresh Challenge reveal! We all decided to reveal our rooms next Tuesday as some delivery delays cost us some time. I can’t wait to see how everyone is progressing this extra week. Well, this past week I spent all of my time doing Nugget’s room as Pink was still here from her college break. She just left Sunday, so I’ll be transforming her space lickety split now that I can move Nugget into his new room and free up Pink’s new room. Last week I shared two design plans for the painted color blocking wall I’d like to do for Nugget’s room. I opted to do the second design (the one below) sans the yellow and pink.

Once the duvet cover from Spoonflower arrived, I noticed that there wasn’t too much of those two colors. So, poof they went and I completed the color blocking over the weekend.

On Monday, I prepped the floors for the new driftwood laminate flooring from Select Surfaces. Took me 3 hours to pull the carpet, padding, and all those darn staples so I wasn’t able to start the flooring before having to pick up the kiddos.
