Arroz con Pollo Made with Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup!
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, I wanted to share a quick and tasty meal. What better way for me to observe Hispanic Heritage month than to share a quick and easy arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) dish.
As a bilingual family, it is important that I instill the importance of global acceptance and universal tolerance. My children know that mommy speaks Spanish and that our foods are based on my own culture. However, it is nice to take some time out this month and spend more time discussing our Hispanic heritage over a tasty arroz con pollo dish.
If you know any Latin family or are Hispanic yourself, I am sure you know that rice is a staple dish. My gringo husband sometimes gets so tired of eating rice, so this recipe is a perfect way to spice up your traditional rice.
I love how you can make this one pot dish and be done with dinner! Well, you’ll have to pass the kitchen clean up duties over to your partner.
Do you have any quick meals for those very busy days that reflect your culture? I’d love to hear them. Leave a comment below and let me know which ingredients you love to stock up on!
Thanks so much for stopping by my casa!
Regressan Pronto!
