8 Easy and Beautiful DIY Wall Art Ideas
Hola Amigos!
Can you believe the Summer is almost over? I have no idea where my Summer went. No worries, there is still time to complete those Summer projects. Did you miss all the fun projects from the DIY Wall Art Blog Hop? There were so many beautiful and creative Wall Art pieces that I had to share a round-up of some must do DIY Wall Art before the Summer ends. These pieces are great for any home and can be entirely customized to fit your own color scheme.
Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods framed vintage maps to make a collection fit for any room. I love the vibrant colors used to paint the frames.
If you don’t have any maps on hand yet, use wood pieces to create abstract art instead. Melissa from Shabby Love constructed an amazing reclaimed wood art piece.
Repurposed window art pieces have been very popular these last few years and for good reason. This beautiful window art by Cynthia from Clockwork Interiors uses vintage calendar art styled in a DIY window frame.
One of my favorite art pieces shared on the DIY Wall Art blog hop was the Vintage Doily Bohemian Dream Catcher by Erlene of My Pinterventures. A truly beautiful way to showcase those heirloom doilies.
Just this week, Laurie from My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies shared this creative and easy arrow wall art. Her tutorial is so simple that you just want to make so many of these arrows, and she did. Check out her other versions of this art piece.
When it comes to painted plate art, Cathy from Vintage Paint and More has a great idea to make those hanging plates pop. Stencil them!
The best part of Amanda’s tutorial is how easy it is. If you can wrap string around a nail, then you have 3/4 of the project done. Amanda from Dwelling in Happiness shows us how we can make this ombre rustic arrow string art.
Katy from A Shade of Teal also shared a wooden art piece, but uses an ink transfer technique that is so easy that you wouldn’t believe it. Her motivational art is fabulously simple. I am loving the the chippy blue background with the grayish black lettering?
With just a few weeks left in the Summer, these creative projects can be completed in no time at all. Finish up your Summer decorating and get a leg up on the Fall decor with these quick DIY wall art ideas.
