A quick DIY jeweled pumpkin idea for your fall and Thanksgiving centerpiece!
Thanksgiving is in T-minus 3 days! Sometimes, with all the hectic shopping and planning we can forget about the centerpiece. Yeah, it’s not the most important element of Thanksgiving, but it can definitely set the mood for the entire dinner table. If you have jewelry, then you can create this simple and quick DIY jeweled pumpkins for your Thanksgiving centerpiece or place setting. My daughter “Pink” is now 18 and every year she inevitably breaks some sort of glass item I’m using for the centerpiece. These DIY jeweled pumpkins are mess free and can be created by the kids! No breaking of glass this year Pink!
DIY Jeweled Pumpkins
Use earrings that you have long lost the pair to, broken jewelry pieces, or even jewelry pieces that you are currently using. The beauty of this project is that you can simply remove the jewelry pieces, clean them off, and place them back in your jewelry box. The pumpkins are still good to use for pies and other baked goodies too!
Simply wrap necklaces around the stem of the pumpkin. Add tassels and earrings for extra decor! The earrings can be pierced into the pumpkin to secure in place. Use a theme of earrings or a variety to create a jeweled centerpiece. I had a few chandelier earrings that are missing the pair. This project gives them new purpose as they await the arrival of their long lost pair…… if they are ever found. I’m not a big fan of wearing the back support for earrings and they often get lost while I’m out and about. I can’t tell you how many single earrings I have in my jewelry box. I refuse to toss them since I’m a firm believer that the missing pair will pop up as SOON as I toss out the earring!
I hope you enjoy this quick and simple idea for your Thanksgiving friends! This one is sure to be a busy one for me as I’m expecting over 20 people! If you haven’t printed out your FREE Thanksgiving planner, be sure to check it out here. It’s been a tremendous help for me.
