DIY Pineapple Inspired Wine Charms
Create these easy DIY pineapple inspired wine charms for your next summer event!
One of the most iconic summer fruits is the pineapple. Yes, watermelons are up there too but I’m more of a pineapple person. I’ve seen so many great pineapple themed projects and recipes this summer that I thought it would be fun to have a week long pineapple theme. I’ll be sharing crafts, recipes, home decor all related to the pineapple. I’m kicking off pineapple week sharing my diy pineapple inspired wine charms on a blog hop hosted by Crystal of The Weathered Fox. Crystal is also hosting her own pineapple week on her blog, so be sure to check out her blog all week long for other great pineapple themed projects and recipes.
For these super dooper easy diy wine charms, I used leftover yellow bone beads from my diy bead vases and green silky tassels. The bone beads reminded me so much of pineapples. The carvings mimic the details on a pineapple and help in creating this pineapple inspired diy project. Of course the tassel is a great summer look, but the diy wine charm can be used all year long. Here is what you need to create your own set of diy pineapple inspired wine charms.
DIY Pineapple Wine Charms
What You Need:
- Hoop rings (find at the jewelry section of craft store)
- Yellow Indian bone beads (I got mine here)
- Wood beads or brown bone beads
- Gold beads
- Green silky tassels
Using green silky thread, create a stack of the tassel followed by the brown/wood bead and the yellow bone bead. Tie a knot with the silky thread as close to the bottom of the yellow bone bead to secure the beads in place. Snip the excess thread. Attach the tassel to the hoop by threading the loop into the backside of the tassel. I inserted the hook right into the backside middle portion of the tassel.
Use the gold and wood tone beads to add some personality to each pineapple ring. This also helps differentiate each of the wine glass charms for guests. My sister is particularly bad at remembering where she left her wine glass. She has drank from almost every family member’s wine at least once. You would think that she was doing it on purpose, but she really is in need of a charm to keep track of her wine glass. What better way to keep an eye on your wine glass than these cute diy inspired pineapple wine glass charms.
