Take Back Your Kitchen: Choosing A New Kitchen Faucet
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kohler for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Hola!
I have been sharing tours of my home all decked out for spring lately and I’m sure you’ve noticed that I have not shared my kitchen. Friends, my kitchen is not horrendous but it is not up to the standard I’d like right now. You know when you have a room that just get’s you upset to look at it? That’s my kitchen. Enough is enough! I’ve been slowly planning out renovation ideas, but one of features that is a MUST upgrade is the kitchen faucet.
My faucet screws have become so loose that the entire faucet moves when you turn it on, the sprayer holder is broken, and the lid top of the faucet broke. Well, the last thing is more cosmetic rather than functionable but I don’t want an ugly faucet.
I had a plumber give me a quote and it was $1000!!! What?! Does that come with the sink too?
Looking for alternatives was very easy on the Lowes website and online shopping is a must for with two young kids. Two particular kitchen faucets standout amongst the others, the Cardale Kitchen Faucet and the Elliston Kitchen Faucet by Kohler. Is it me or does the name Kohler just make you think quality. My husband researches everything we buy. I am constantly asked, “Did you research it? What does the research say? What are the reviews?”
Well here is the research honey!
The Cardale has a sweep spray (TM) that creates a forceful blade of water designed to sweep away stuck-on food from your dishes. GREAT!
Temperature memory that allows the faucet to be turned on and off at any temperature setting and a 2-function spray head with touch control. NICE!
Sweep(TM) spray, and aerated stream settings, DockNetik(TM) that ensures a secure spray head fit, and Kohler Scratch Shield (TM) finishes that resist corrosion and tarnishing, exceeding industry durability standards over two times. YES, YES, and YES!
Left or right handle installation and 360° spout rotation, a 10-1/2-in (267 mm) escutcheon plate and soap dispenser, and a 1-Piece, self-contained ceramic disc valve that allows both volume and temperature control. FANTASTIC!
The Elliston has a Kohler Scratch Shield (TM) finish that resist corrosion and tarnishing, exceeding industry durability standards over two times. A sleek, refined design that complements your modern kitchen decor, masterclean(TM) spray face that resists mineral buildup and is a snap to clean. WOW!
High temperature limit stop that allows you to preset a comfortable maximum temperature to eliminate scalding. OOH thats a good one for kids!
Optimal height and reach that provides plenty of clearance beneath the spout and Kohler ceramic disk valves crush and remove line debris, and exceed industry longevity standards by over two times, ensuring durable performance for life. BRILLIANT!
So, I’m thinking that’s plenty of research for me to order either one of these two amazing Kohler kitchen faucets exclusive to Lowes! It’s time to get rid of the sub-par kitchen faucet and replace with a beautiful, new Kohler Cardale or Elliston faucet. Which features of these faucets are most important to you?
