3 Quick Decor Changes For Spring
You wouldn’t believe it with all the cold weather, but spring is on the horizon. Quick decor changes for spring are the best way to make your home feel more vibrant and springy. Our living room is the first room our guests see when entering our home, so it’s only fitting that I start the spring changes there. These 3 quick decor changes for spring will have you feeling like spring has already arrived and as always, with a global style twist.
Quick Spring Decor Changes
Pillow swapping is one of the most inexpensive ways to switch up the decor for the season. Bonus points if you use pillows you already have in your pillow stash or make quick pillow covers for the existing pillows. This is one of the times I like to point out why it’s important to have so many pillows to my hubs. He is constantly making comments about the amount of pillows I hoard save! For the living room, I used two coordinating pillows I already owned. The orange Indian embroidered pillow is one of my favorite pillows. The colors are so vibrant and the small floral touches are perfect for spring.

Another quick way to decorate for spring is to play a game of musical chairs with those you have around your home. I swapped out the midcentury modern chair for a vintage green arm chair I’ve been storing for a makeover one day. The green works for this space, but I’m not sure if I’m liking the chair in this gallery wall corner. I’m on the fence with this look. Maybe it’ll look better by the cabinet??! What do you think? I’ll share where the other chair ended up tomorrow.
For the coffee table, I went more on the simple side and filled my hammam bowl with a string of Indian handmade elephants from World Market. You may remember these hanging from my Christmas tree. It’s always great to repurpose decor from the previous season if you can. The colors are so vibrant and helps keep a cohesive look with the pillows. Coordinating your pillow look with your coffee table styling is always a good thing.
Lastly, flowers! You can’t do spring decorating without flowers. Use a new vase or create a new one this season. I took literally 2 minutes to transform a glass cylinder for this spring centerpiece. Winter white roses get a spring look just by using a new vase.
