Cleaning the oven
Probably the longest kitchen cleaning job is the oven. Well, Melissa of Polished Habitat solves how to clean your oven fast and make it sparkly clean WITHOUT CHEMICALS! Yes, you read that right! No chemicals. I actually tried the method Melissa shared and it worked perfectly in my oven.
Cleaning the sink
The sink is one of the most cleaned areas on a daily basis, but sometimes it just doesn’t look 100% clean. Whether you have calcifications, hard water stains, or scratches these cleaning tips have you covered. Sometimes letting something sit overnight makes the next day of cleaning much faster. Meg of Green with Decor shares an easy way to clean kitchen faucets by soaking overnight with an ingredient already in your cabinet! Erin of Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry shares how to clean porcelain sinks and how to remove hard water stains from faucets.
Cleaning the dishwasher
The dishwasher is one of those appliances that often goes uncleaned. We assume that because it runs a cleaning cycle for dishes, that the machine is also clean. However, it is a machine that does need to be cleaned. Maria of Pastels and Macaroons shares an easy to do tutorial on cleaning the dishwasher.
Cleaning the microwave
Maria of Pastels and Macaroons does it again and shares an easy tutorial for cleaning the microwave. If you have a teen, then your microwave may look like mine. Food splatters, remnants of microwaved food, and sometimes an odor occur right after my teen uses the microwave. Maria’s tip for cleaning the microwave not only helps clean your microwave, but it deodorizes it!
Cleaning stuck on food
Last, but certainly not least is a tutorial by Eliesa of A Pinterest Addict. Eliesa’s tip for removing stuck on food completely shocked me. A few of my dishes sit with soap and water for a couple of days because the food is just so stuck on. Eliesa’s tip dramatically reduces the time and makes it so much more easy to remove the next day.
