Moroccan Spring Brunch Tablescape
Hola!
As a stay at home mom, it’s so easy to lose connections with friends especially if they have children of a different age than yours or have no children at all. Then, there are hardly any play dates! Every now and again, it’s great to have friends come over and have a girlfriend’s brunch. It becomes a time to catch up on life events and feel like yourself again. This Spring, have your girlfriends over for a light brunch with a DIY Moroccan themed tablescape!
A brunch can include light fare to allow you to focus on your guest. My girlfriends and I are eating a bit more health conscious so I served fresh fruit, whole wheat flat bread, which would also go great with a light chicken salad.
You can plan your brunch to also include a great tablescape inspired by Morocco. I used a DIY etched glass tiered tray made using a Moroccan perfume bottle to display fruit. This tutorial is being shared this week at Home Made By Carmona! So excited to be contributing for Ursula’s blog. Be sure to head there to view this great tutorial.
Fresh cut flowers are almost always a must for a tablescape. Include colorful flowers placed in clear glass or pitchers on your Moroccan themed tablescape. Moroccan decor always has so many vibrant colors.
DIY Moroccan patterned plates add to the colorful tablescape. Your friend’s will surely ask you how you created these plates. You can see that the tutorial here. Pair your plates with cobalt goblets or Moroccan tea glasses. Use trays to display more fruit or an assortment of finger foods.
Whether you create a Moroccan themed brunch tablescape or go with another theme, make it fun and easy. Thanks for stopping by my casa today!
