Spring is here and that means that SPRING CLEANING IS ALSO!

Now, I’m not a big lover of cleaning and I can’t think of anyone who is.  The thought of spending hours and hours cleaning doesn’t sound fun whatsoever.  Breaking up the work into manageable pieces makes the process much MUCH easier and more satisfying too!  For Day 2 of A Very Global Easter with Casa Watkins Living and Up To Date Interiors, I’m prepping for the guests coming over for Easter with these folk art themed spring cleaning checklist cards.  They are yours free along with other great spring printables from awesome bloggers all joining Carrie’s of Lovely Etc. Spring Cleaning Checklist Cards

This year, my kids are big enough to participate in chores and have increased responsibilities in keeping their spaces clean.  I found a few examples of kids chore cards and thought I’d bring the idea of fun cleaning cards to adults.

…why can’t adults have spring cleaning cards to make cleaning easier?!

Each card in this free spring cleaning checklist pack has cleaning tasks dedicated to one space.  Make your spring cleaning manageable by completing a card each day until all 8 cards are complete.  Or, complete two if you’re feeling super motivated.  Give yourself a reward after you complete a card.  I had my hubs buy me a pack of Hershey bars which is all the reward I will need.  My chocolate cravings are off the richter scale lately.  🙂

 

 

To make your own set of cleaning cards, simply print out a copy of the folk art themed spring cleaning checklist cards, and laminate.  Cut out each card, hole punch, and add to a ring.  I couldn’t resist adding a little pop of color with the yellow ribbon.  Plus, it helps tie my cleaning cards attached to my cleaning caddy.  Use a dry erase marker to place a checkmark or cross off the tasks you complete on the cards.
