Free Printable Thanksgiving Leftover Labels
Hola!
It’s a mere 2 days before Thanksgiving and I am doing some heavy prepping. One of the lessons I have learned from hosting Thanksgiving the past 6 years is to have leftover containers ready to go. The first few years of hosting the big feast ended with a full kitchen search for containers. Every cabinet was searched looking for containers my guests could take to work the next day. I have not only prepared with these great disposable and recyclable containers this year, but also with cute labels that my guests can personalize.
Have your Thanksgiving groceries done? Not to worry! You can simply print out these labels at home and attach them to containers or brown paper lunch bags. Simply click here to print out the labels. If you plan on using label paper, be sure to use 2×4 labels.
If you want to make it even easier this Thanksgiving, print out the labels on paper, cut out, and use tape to adhere to your container. Add a bit of ribbon to pretty the container.
Each label has a spot for your guest to write their name on the label. Remember to leave a few pens where ever you plan to set up your leftover boxing station. We had a few people mix up boxes one year and took the wrong containers home. My brother in law was not happy with the mix up. He has a bigger appetite and received a container that didn’t have as much food stored. 🙁 Poor thing didn’t have much for lunch the next day at work.
Refrigerate the leftover boxes until your guests are ready to take home.
I also recommend having a jar of disposable cutlery on hand. We have so many of these disposable cutlery sets from takeout night. I save them throughout the year to have them on hand for the big Thanksgiving feast. Don’t have any sets on hand? Just wrap some plastic cutlery in a napkin! Easy, peasy.
This Thanksgiving, prepare for those inevitable leftovers by printing out these labels today! What other things do you do to prep for Thanksgiving? Share them in the comments below.
