It’s finally December and I feel like jumping for joy! Today I finished the Christmas decorating that I’m actually able to do this year. We were limited to certain areas since the kitchen, formal living room, and dining room are off limits. Most of our time has been spent in the family room (which will soon become our only living space) and the playroom/sunroom. I’ll be sharing the last area decorated for Christmas tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for that! One of the features in that space are these diy global bohemian wood bead ornaments.
DIY Global Bohemian Wood Bead Ornaments
These simple bohemian wood bead ornaments are so easy to create and bring global style to any of your Christmas decorations. I won’t say what I used them for just yet, but you will be able to see it all in tomorrow’s winter tour.
This year’s Christmas decor has consisted of many diy projects since I took a rather tropical bohemian vibe. I shared a few diy ornaments during my A Very Global Christmas series, but my favorites so far have been my diy plant propagation ornaments, diy gilded grapefruit slice ornaments, and the diy global bohemian tassel ornaments. The DIY global bohemian wood bead ornaments I’m sharing today merge aspects of those previous ornaments in a new way!
DIY Boho Wood Bead Ornaments
To start these awesome bohemian ornaments, I used black pens to draw tribal patterns onto a few unfinished wood beads. While they are drying, I created a colorful tassels in the same color scheme as my diy tribal wood spools.
Then, I pulled one tassel into a wooden bead and tied a knot to secure. See, super easy right!
I opted for thin tassels but you can make fuller tassels and even multi-colored tassels to coordinate with your wooden tribal beads. I can’t wait to show you how I used these diy boho wood bead ornaments tomorrow! Happy decorating and see you tomorrow!
