Back To School Checklist For Parents
Whether you are a seasoned parent or sending your kids off to school for the first time, preparing for back to school time is an event all in itself! Keeping calm and maintaining a positive attitude during that back to school time is so important. Kids can tell when we get anxious or nervous about something, believe me. Having a back to school checklist for parents helps keep me organized and excited about this time of the year.
Back To School Supplies Shopping List
Today’s free back to school printable includes a back to school shopping list with an area for multiple kids. Print out as many as you want! Having a school shopping checklist in hand while shopping (not the one the school sends out!) helps tremendously! As I’m transferring the information from the school’s mailed list to my shopping list, I can review which items I already have and reduce my chances of over spending.
Apart from Christmas, back to school shopping is one of my favorite times of the year for shopping. It may sound super weird, but I LOOOOVE school supplies and get so excited to see new notebooks and such. I’m pretty sure I’ve passed on that excitement to the kids, because they look forward to back to school shopping too.
Back To School Checklist
We have an entire process when it comes to back to school time and I’ve outlined them in a brand new back to school checklist for parents printable. This is completely free for your personal use and comes in the same 3 global designs as my lunch box menu planners I shared yesterday.
I’m currently doing the first checklist box since we are about 3 weeks from starting school now. Nugget and Chi-Chi are almost complete with their summer work packets and we will all be heading to the store to get new supplies this week! Have you completed any of the things listed in the checklist already?
I hope this back to school checklist brings you as much organization joy as it does to me. Stay tuned for more back to school printables coming your way this week.
What kind of prep work or organization ideas would you find helpful? Let me know in the comments below. Who knows? It may be one of the ones I’ll be releasing this week.
Happy back to school time!
