A Global, Eclectic Style Fall Home Tour

Now, to my home tour y’all!  If you’re new here to the casa, there are two concepts that I hold dear when it comes to decorating my home.  Make it colorful and make it welcoming.  The fall time is such as great time for decorating as almost all fall decor lends itself to warm, welcoming feelings.  However, you may not necessarily see too much incorporation of bold jewel tones.  As you can see from my family room fall refresh shared last week, I just LOVE to incorporate loads of bold colors.

I used several global textiles in this space and mixed them to create a welcoming family room.  Bold colors and global patterns work so well together for fall.  How great are these serape pillows and blankets?!  Stay tuned friends, because I’ll be hosting a very special giveaway featuring serape later this week!  You’ll want to be sure you’re following me on Instagram for that announcement.

My kitchen counters are alway super cluttered.  My family seems to think that the kitchen counters is the new inbox for all things mail, coloring books, art supplies, and even lunchboxes.  This week, I cleared off a counter to create a coffee bar!  Finally, a spot for me!

This cute little chinoiserie pumpkin jar is pure perfection.  I received it as a gift from Iris of Iris Nacole, who is actually sharing her home tour today as well!  I am a huge lover of chinoiserie porcelain and used them heavily in my home decor.  A few feathers and vintage trays finish off my little portion of heaven.  Plus, I finally get to use these galvanized metal jars!

My breakfast table was moved into the kitchen following my dining room makeover.  It’s a bit dark for this area, but don’t despair, this table will be receiving a makeover soon.  My table decor is a mix of items that radiate fall.  I used autumn colored florals mixed with feathers and willows for my centerpiece.  Two gold trays, a Nate Berkus angle wing and a palm leaf tray, serve as vessels for my eclectic fall mix.  Speckled dollar store pumpkins and vintage thrifted napkin rings create a unique fall tablescape feature.

Why two napkins on my plate you ask?  Well, to add a more unique flair.  The feather napkins serve to add character to the white plate, while the plain white or blue napkin is displayed with a vintage napkin ring.  Did I mention that I purchased all these vintage napkin rings for $5.00 from the thrift store!!!  A bag of about 20 silver napkin rings for $5.00!  You can’t beat that price friends.
