What is Spanish Tot School?
As a stay at home mom, I wanted to use the time I had with my children to enhance their learning experiences. I started focused learning time using play and homemade learning activities when he was 10 months old. I started calling it Mommy School, but later changed it to Tot School after reading about Carissa’s Tot school experiences at 1+1+1=1. Tot school is simply using a segment of time to do some learning focused games and activities.
Unfortunately, I haven’t come across many resources for bilingual toddlers. So, I started Spanish Tot School for Nugget and Chi Chi. I use a variety of teaching methods for Spanish Tot school including focused play with household items, printables, and DIY activities/games.
