Cinnamon Sugar Croissants and Wine Glass Centerpiece
Easy and delicious cinnamon sugar croissants and a wine glass centerpiece for your Valentine’s day breakfast tray!
It’s February and that is high time for us here at Casa Watkins. There are 3 birthdays, Valentine’s day, President’s day, and it’s the shortage month of the year! The ladies of The Global Styler are back and we are sharing Valentine’s day meal and table decor ideas. Be sure to stop by the ladies posts at the end of my cinnamon sugar croissants and wine glass centerpiece tutorial. I’m tackling breakfast and although I love heavy breakfasts, sometimes you just need a little sweet treat to start your day full of special meals. My cinnamon sugar croissants are easy to create and doesn’t involve much prep at all.
Simply prepare a combination of 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. If you love cinnamon like I do, you may want to add a bit more. Then, prepare the croissants as instructed on a package…..yes, I used packaged croissants. Who wants to be tied to the stove all day?! Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar atop of the croissants prior to baking and serve with a chocolate fudge sauce for some added pizzazz.
Serve your croissants on a breakfast tray adorned with a simple wine glass centerpiece. I find the fun part of a breakfast tray is the arrangement. I may snip a few flowers and place them in an unexpected vesicle. Today, I’m snipping some daffodils and adding a bit of moss to a wine glass. I added a snip of faux succulents to make the arrangement look fuller. You can come up with all sorts of arrangements in a wine glass! Substitute the daffodile for your love’s favorite flower or add a little tea candle. Just be sure to be careful of the placement of the candle next to moss. The moss is flammable so you don’t want a fire kicking off your Valentine’s day, well at least not this type of fire. 🙂
Wishing you a very Happy Valentine’s day! Now head on over to my pals Kathy of Up To Date Interiors for lunch, Corinna of A Designer At Home for dinner, and Jessica of House Homemade for dessert!
Those looks so yummy and I love the wine glass idea. Beautiful!
The wine glass centerpiece is so creative! I love that you added moss and faux and real greenery together. The croissants look so delish.
