Simple Bohemian Christmas Tree
Tour my simple bohemian Christmas tree with global style ornaments.
I’m over the moon excited about today’s post! It’s the 3rd Annual My Home Style blog hop: Christmas Tree Edition!! If you love Christmas trees and they make you feel giddy and joyful then you’ll want to stay tuned buddy. We have a whole week full of creative, inspiring, make you feel like a kid again Christmas trees! I’m kicking off the hop by sharing my simple eclectic global bohemian Christmas tree. You may have seen bits of my tree shown last week during my boho Christmas living room tour, but I was finally able to finish up the tree yesterday. I’ve been pretty busy with Chi-Chi’s 5th birthday party planning, but now that both kiddos have had their birthdays (they’re a few weeks apart), it’s time to finish up my Christmas decorating. Speaking of Christmas decorating, it’s also day 6 of A Very Global Christmas! Kathy of Up To Date Interiors and I are sharing globally inspired Christmas posts for 12 days. Catch all the Very Global Christmas posts here.
Simple Bohemian Christmas Tree
My time has been quite limited since going back to work in August. To keep things as stress free as possible, I decided to do simple Christmas decorating. A few Christmas touches here and there with quick Christmas projects. I shared my global boho chic mantel last week along with DIY mud cloth wood Christmas trees that didn’t take too long to create. My simple bohemian Christmas tree didn’t take too long to decorate either! I created DIY tribal driftwood ornaments that coordinate with the rest of the nature inspired tree decorations.
I think we can agree that the white berry branches draw your eyes in. Each of the berry pieces were on sale at Joann fabrics last week during their Black Friday sale. I also found these awesome boho wall monograms that hang easily from the Christmas tree branches. Faux blue hydrangeas spread sporadically around the tree were used to balance the ivory and white from the berry branches and ribbon bows. Sporadically….. the word of the day for those of us who remember the movie Clueless. 🙂 DIY tribal gift tagsI shared the last week on the blog. They add a touch of global style to a fabric wrapped gift.
The driftwood ornaments add a little character since each ornament is unique in design. Be sure to see the tutorial for those driftwood ornaments and two more globally inspired ornaments shared for the December installment of The Global Styler post. II finished the tree by adding jingle bells to many of the tree branches. These little bells are actually gift toppers from Target, but who says you can’t use them on a Christmas tree?!
I hope you enjoyed my eclectic global bohemian Christmas tree! Be sure to head to the next blog for more Christmas tree inspiration! In fact, the next blog is my buddy Kathy of Up To Date Interiors. Kathy and I are continuing our Very Global Christmas series this week! We shared 5 Christmas ideas last week, which you can check by heading to my Very Global Christmas page. Be sure to come back and check out the fabulous Christmas trees being shared each day this week.
