Global Bohemian Winter Dining Room
I took inspiration from the cute wooden nesting houses from the Hearth and Hand line at Target. They looked like Scandinavian decor to me and were the perfect addition to my simple bohemian winter decor. I also incorporated the Hearth and Hand wooden house place card holders into my display. To continue with the houses theme, I used Hearth and Hand house cookie cutters to create an ornament chandelier. A few glittered faux evergreen branches completes the look.
I used silver trays to create each place setting. A stack of white plates and World Market Feather napkins creates a simple bohemian ambiance to each place setting. I placed vintage champagne glasses at each place setting. These awesome glasses were a thrift store find and keep with the silver trays.
We have been enjoying our dining room and I can’t wait to host a dinner in here! Head on over to Kathy at Up To Date Interiors to continue to see globally inspired dining room ideas! Oh, you had me at greenery!! Love the way it looks floating on your chandelier. What a fabulously earthy table setting for Christmas. Love, love, love!!
I love those nesting houses…such a sweet touch. Beautiful as always, friend!
I love all of the greenery throughout your dining space! I also love that you hung cookie cutters as ornaments from your chandelier – so genius!
So gorgeous! I love the neutrals combined with the green! You’re so clever, simply beautiful x
Beautiful, Stephanie! I love the wooden houses and simple trees.
Stephanie, your tree is simply stunning and I love your table scape! Also, I’m a huge fan of decorating the chandelier, and yours looks perfect! Love the earthy, Christmas vibe! Merry Christmas!
It’s really beautiful Steph! I love the nesting houses and the cookie cutters has ornaments! I have the same crystal (my great grandmothers). Great thrift store find. Can we talk about the red, green, and blue abstract painting? Did you do it? It’s so pretty!
Great holiday tablescape! Love that you kept with a theme- and the tones you chose allow for the rest of your colorful decor to pop!
The wooden houses are adorable. I haven’t had a chance to check out the line and probably won’t buy until it goes on clearance but they are really cute!
I love the bright colors in your space. Great job pulling together the vibrance of the room in a unique and beautiful way.
this is so pretty! I love the little houses and the what you did with the cookie cutters…genius!
I absolutely love that ornament chandelier. It is such a novel idea and adds a little extra green to the room (I love having natural pine decorations- the smell is so Christmas-y!). I think it could do with a few little gold ball ornaments to spruce it up a little more, and gold would go really well with the colors of the house and tree. Of course, if it were up to me, the houses would be red and green ball ornaments hanging. Thank you so much for sharing!
