DIY Tribal Ornaments
These DIY driftwood ornaments are super easy to create. I used some driftwood pieces that I scored at Target. Believe it or not, these driftwood bits come as a box of vase filler! Shopping the vase filler aisle is a hidden gem friends. I get a box of several craft supply pieces for a reasonable price. I’ve used sea urchin vase fillers for projects too!
Simply use your paint pens to create tribal inspired patterns on each of the driftwood pieces. Google is a great source to search for tribal patterns if you need a bit of inspiration. These paint pens dry relatively quickly. I was able to hang the driftwood ornaments within 5 minutes of painting them. Use coordinating paint colors that match your other Christmas decor.
Once the driftwood is dry, use jute rope to create a loop to hang your new DIY tribal driftwood ornament. The jute rope adds to the ornament’s organic element perfectly. Match your driftwood ornament with other nature or organic inspired tree decor. I paired mine with a few different elements and you can see the full tree here.

so cute, steph- always love a good natural touch with a twist!
Yes! I love paint pens and these turned out so pretty! I would leave them out all year.
I’ve always wanted to play with driftwood but we have non on the beaches here in Virginia. I am definitely going to look for that vase filler! I love the colors you’ve chosen for the tribal design.
