5 ways to use Moroccan trays for spring decorating

Tray Collection of Glasses and Flowers

Spring blooms and vibrant colored glasses look amazing on this Moroccan tray vignette.  If you have a blooming garden already, this Moroccan tray styling is super easy to accomplish simply by clipping a few of your garden blooms.  If you have snow in March like me, you can buy a bouquet of spring florals and deconstruct the bouquet.  I’m loving the Moroccan tea glasses there too.  Mismatch glasses by shopping your home or head to your nearest thrift store.  The thrift store usually sells drinking glasses and old perfume bottles for a few cents!

Monochromatic Spring Tray Decor

Love a more romantic feel for spring?  Create this spring tray centerpiece made with various clear glasses and pink flowers.   Raid your kitchen cabinets and bar cabinets for clear jars or shot glasses to serve as bud vases.  Pink roses and small pink blooms creates a romantic feel for spring.

Using Metallics for Tray Decor

Love metallics all year round?  Welcome spring with metallics by grouping small metallic decor items in similar finishes on a Moroccan tray.  I love brass candlesticks and use them as a go-to item to add height to my vignettes.  Group a collection of brass candlesticks or a series of brass decor items on a Moroccan tray for a global chic look.  Add a vase of flowers in the same metallic finish or a vase that coordinates with the metallic decor.  This gold polka dot vase complements all the gold touches on the tray.  Check out those cute metallic fruits!

DIY IDEA::  Spray paint dollar store faux fruit with metallic spray paint to recreate this look!

The FFP (Fruit, Flowers, & Plants) Tray Vignette Combination

One of my favorite tray vignettes are those that follow my FFP arrangement.  Fruit, flowers, and plants are my decor trinity.  A bowl of fruit alongside a fresh bouquet of flowers and vibrant green plant is by far the most nature themed vignette.  A FFP arrangement is perfect for any season and room.  Here I used a FFP arrangement on my buffet table.

Spring Tray Decor for the Minimalist

Moroccan trays are typically very large in size, but that doesn’t mean you have to style the entire tray at once.  Moroccan trays can be decorated minimally and still exude a fresh spring feel.  A jar of blooming twigs alongside some simple white candles and an empty fez bowl still scream spring, or should I say whisper spring, without going too crazy with color.

This spring, go global by using a Moroccan tray for your spring decorating.  Whether you use flowers, candles, or glasses you can easily transition your decor for spring using a Moroccan tray vignette.   Happy Decorating!
