Get The Global Look: Styling A Family Room Desk

It’s week 3 of the New Year, New Room Refresh challenge! If you’re just joining me, for the last 3 weeks I have been completing a room refresh on my family room. I’ve invited some blogging friends to join in on the challenge too. Catch up on week 1 and week 2 of all things room refresh.

Today, I’m sharing some styling tips to keep in mind for your own family room in particular your desk. Not all family rooms have a desk, but I highly recommend it if you can. It’s not only a great place for the kids to do their homework, but also for you to do some home management planning with the kids in eyesight.
Here are some desk items you’ll want to have.
If you have younger children, be sure to store any permanent pens and markers in the desk drawer. Use a stylish decorative box for your everyday supplies like pens and highlighers in a stylish. Here are a couple colorful ways to store your supplies from LampsPlus.
