Global, Eclectic Living Room Makeover Reveal!

Hola!
The day has come and I am exhausted.  I had to muster up all sorts of energy to pull this room off for today’s reveal.  I’d love to thank my wonderful sponsors, LampsPlus for the inspiring rug, Aloriam for the stunning pillow covers, PaperWords for the beautiful art, and Cutting Edge Stencils for the fantastic wall stencil and paint-a-pillow kits.  I would not be able to pull off this room transformation without the contributions from these sponsors.  Be sure to check out their links to swipe my look and more great products.
*****This room has been photographed and shared as part of the Spring 2016 tour. Since these pics are so dark, I welcome you to view the room here for a better perspective!

Now to what you have been waiting for, my living room makeover!  Get ready for picture overload.
Let’s review what the room looked like before.

Here is my living room now!

I am super thrilled with the results!  What do you think of the room now?  I added the entryway to the makeover since it’s pretty much attached to the living room.

I used the Sophia Trellis stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils to give the wall a new look.  I added 5 little blue birds, one for each family member, for a bit of fun.

All of the accent pieces are thrifty finds, apart from the beautiful ginger jar from HomeGoods.

I used a wire basket I had laying around to corral my brass candlestick collection.  I’m loving this new way to show off collections.

My husband isn’t too fond of pillow overload, but I rather love the pillow assortment on the couch.

I’m still swooning over the Frida pillow from Aloriam.  The Cutting Edge Stencils paint-a-pillow in leopard print was originally going to be painted black, but I loved the blue color of my painted thrifty chair that I decided to duplicate the color on the pillow.
The stunning Kaleen rug from LampsPlus inspired all the colors of the room.

I had another wire basket and decided to corral more candlesticks for a vignette above the china cabinet.

I used the apothecary jar to display my chinoiserie tea light collection.

The blue color was continued to my thifty chair makeover.  This chair came a long way from what it was.
I have to mention that my husband’s contribution to the room was this awesome globe from HomeGoods.  He was so excited when I said yes to one of the decor ideas he had.
The red table from the family room was moved into this little space next to blue chair.  I also moved the Moroccan inspired mirror into this room as well.  It fits nicely between the drapes and bounces the light from the dining room window.
On the opposite end is my other thrift chair and another paint-a-pillow damask pillow.  How gorgeous are the prints from PaperWords!  I received 6 prints and made a small gallery wall with 4 of the prints.  The other two will be used in the dining room.  The chinoiserie prints are full of color and a make a wonderful display.
The other wall looked so plain compared to the gallery wall that I hung two trays I had purchased from Michael’s craft store this past summer.
After all the stress, headaches, and recuperating from the flu while decorating I am so excited to see the final room.  I put the final touches on it last night so my husband just saw the room this morning.  I had a huge smile on my face when he said he liked it and that I did a great job.
Thanks for sticking with me through the process and for all your wonderful comments and words of encouragement these past 6 weeks.  This challenge took over my life and I have learned so much about my design style through this process.  I’ll be ready for my next room in a couple of weeks.  Should I tackle my craft room or the kids playroom?
Until next time!
