Me Gusta Monday and New Look For Casa Watkins!

Hola Amigos!

I am excited that you are able to see the changes I have been doing to Casa Watkins which now is available on www.CasaWatkins.net.  I am trying to make the blog more user friendly and am still in the process of updating some of the features.  I recently moved to my own domain and unfortunately have lost every single comment ever left on my blog since I started it in January.  Extremely sadden about that.  I know that there were several great comments left and some wonderful visitors that were going to check back in after completing some of my tutorials.  I’d love to hear how your project turned out so check back in on my new domain.

Side note: if you know how to get comments from blogspot.com moved to a owned domain PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know either in the comment section or send me an email using the contact form.

Now, on to my Monday.  I had a great Easter and was so proud of my hubby for giving his testimony on Sunday.  The Lord has definitely made an impact in his life and mine.  I had a very comfortable Sunday afternoon at home and took the time to browse some great things on the internet.  I keep getting tied up and haven’t finished my dining room makeover, but I really need to finish this room this week.  I went browsing for great accent pieces and thought I’d share those with you today in my first Me Gusta Monday (I like it Monday).

I was browsing my email from Joss and Main and saw this GORGEOUS nailhead trim chest.  This is actually a green chest, but it looks like a glazed yellow to me.

These crystal clusters from Pottery Barn look interesting to me.  They can add a little glam to any area.  I’d love to see these on my desk (whenever I have that painted and placed in my craft room..sigh), but they could also work on a buffet table in the dining room.  Imagine them grouped on a tray with some bar elements.

My mouth dropped when I saw this White Washed Wood Wall art by West Elm.  This gorgeous piece is to die for and its huge.  I would love this piece if I could spare that money.

Last, but not any less liked, is this special wall sconce.  I have never seen anything like this before.  Its so intricate at the base and the shade is just amazing.  Definitely a perfect fit for eclectic homes.  Though, I think I may be able to work it in somewhere in my casa.
